Imagine yourself at the beach. You’ve heard many stories about surfers getting attacked by sharks but you believe that it won’t happen to you.
You get ready and jump in the water. You are swimming…
All of a sudden you feel something near you… and there it is. You put your head in the water to see if there is something there and you get attacked.
The painting is a representation of the chaos, it is both imagined as if you are inside the water looking in the ocean as well as if you are seeing the water from a birds-eye view.
