Oil Painting
Oil Painting, technique in which pigments are mixed with oil, usually linseed. After all of the colours have been applied to the painting surface, the oil paint slowly dries and varnish is usually applied to further protect the paint.
WATERCOLOR
Watercolor painting, technique in which pigments are mixed with water. After all of the colours have been applied to the painting surface, the water dries out quite quickly therefore allowing for quick framing.
Acrylic
Acrylic painting, technique in which pigments are mixed with a binder and finally merged with a driver. After all of the colours have been applied to the painting surface, the artist can choose to mix volcanic rock to the paint to make it thicker therefore add finishing touches to the artwork.

A Little Intro
Vasilios was born and raised in Athens, Greece. At the age of twelve, Vasilios moved to Melbourne, Australia where he finished his High school and started both his painting career as well as his IT career. Working as a Web Developer and Support technician during the day to creating oil paintings during the night, Vasilios keeps striving towards excellence in all aspects of his daily life & career.
My Inspirations
Vasilios draws his inspiration from both European and Australian landscapes, focusing on the beautiful snowy mountain ranges as well as on the calm, thoughtful oceans.
